Hello,
When I want to update to the new patch 7.1 P016 or 7.2.
I got the following error after unpacking JVM i got the error some imc servers are still running.
When I looked at the logfile it said that the dbman.exe cannot be written / unpacked because the file is in use.
I want to update the standard edition on a 2008 R2 server.
Thanks in advance

Re: Problem Update 7.1 to 7.1 Patch and 7.2
Have you checked the running processes to see if dbman.exe is still running?
Try manually stopping all IMC services, check that everything has stopped, then start the update process.

Re: Problem Update 7.1 to 7.1 Patch and 7.2
Hello,
If I manually stop all IMC services how can I still update
to update , the services (IMC services) must be running.
Or can i update the imc server by a cmd or bat file.
Thanks in advance
Hans

No, you don't have to have all the services running to update. You only need the Deployment Monitoring Agent running.

SolutionOk.
I solved the problem.
When the update is running it rename the jre dir.
Because this dir is busy two javaprocess running it failed.
After killing this running process everything goes well.
I use 2 utils to monitor the process
Ofview openfiles view and process-monitotor from sysinternals.
