Unable to apply Default Monitoring Indexes to previously discovered devices
Hi All,
We changed the Default Monitoring Indexes to include certain interface statistics. According to the docs and tutorial (HP IMC Setting up Basic Device Monitoring http://youtu.be/0QWKIS4yGe8), I should see the option to "Add Indexes" to the existing switch inventory.
I do not have that option, nor do I see another method to apply these Default Indexes to existing inventory. I do see a button labeled "OK and Add Monitor", which I tried, with no success. According to a Reseller, I would need to adjust these PRIOR to discovering the device. This seems rather silly.
I am currently running iMC PLAT 5.1, Standard Edition.
Thanks in advance,
Mark

Re: Unable to apply Default Monitoring Indexes to previously discovered devices
If you're running 5.1 without SP1, then you really need to ugprade to at least SP1. I would recommend getting to 5.2. I believe it's a supported upgrade to go 5.1->5.2. (The upgrades I have done are 5.1 SP1 -> 5.2).
