Following a server failure the OS on my Win 2K8 R2 server has been reinstalled. I have reinstalled iMC and the software runs ok. When I try and restore the old databases however I get an error message stating that DBMAN is running but database restore failed. The log is even less helpful with just two entries:
Begin to manual restore databases. manualType:0
Failed to manual restore databases. manualType:0
I have ensured that all the deployed modules are identical to that deployed at the time of the backup. I have logged in to iMC and reapplied the licence key. I have not recreated anything else.
Any ideas as to how I can get my server back?

SolutionHi,
make sure to make a manual backup of the new installation first.
This will cause dbman to update the database passwords in the dbman configuration file, at which point the restore should work as well,
