Hello,
We have a fresh install of IMC v7.1 on Windows since we need to install and test IMC VSM module.
Our setup is like this:
- Virtual machine on vmware made for test this IMC server.
- Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise
- MS SQL Server 2008 Enterprise
- IMC PLAT 7.1 E0302
- IMC VSM 7.1 E0301
IMC installation with local MSSQL database was flawless after a few attempts.
But when we try to install/deploy VSM module from Deployment Monitoring Agent, deployment fails and detailed info on dmslog.txt points to a SQLServerException regarding an 'out-of-range value' product of 'varchar to datetime conversion'.
Anyone went through this before? Or knows what could be the cause of this error?
Attached are dmalog.txt and dmslog.txt from generated deploylog after failure.
Sorry for mixed english/spanish SQL log messages, since this is a Windows spanish install.
Pay attention only to 2014-12-03 log messages, those were the last attempts.
Thanks in advance.
Pablo

SolutionSolved.
We supposed it was a locale related issue, because of spanish Win2008 server and MSSQL2008.
Then we did a new fresh install:
- Virtual machine on vmware
- Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise (now english)
- MS SQL Server 2012 (now english)
- IMC PLAT 7.1 E0302
- IMC VSM 7.1 E0301
Flawless installation from end to end.
Cheers,
Pablo
