Re: imcfaultdm won't start after E0506P09 upgrade
I have a similar problem; just updated to E0506P09 via E0506 and in System > Server Info all I can see is imcfaultdm.exe with a status of 'Starting' and never actually getting round to a status of "Started". I'm on a Windows server 2012 if that helps. Not sure where to look for more detailled logs I'm afraid.
How annoying: I only wanted to upgrade so I could download switch firmware after HP broke that. Now my IMC does not work at all.

Re: imcfaultdm won't start after E0506P09 upgrade
I have the same issue - after upgrading IMC to E0506P09 - imcfaultdm fails to start
I can access IMC - but I cannot clear errors
I contacted HPE support and they said you have to have a support contract - I think that is absurd

This is the way all Enterprise software works. Try submitting a bug to Oracle when you don't have a support contract.

I too have this problem. Luckily rolled back to a snapshot. Anyone seen or heard a resolution yet?

Re: imcfaultdm won't start after E0506P09 upgrade
Hello,
So our installation is not the only one concerned by this problem. We have no solution nor workaround so our IMC is unusable at the moment.
Regards.

Happy to say version 7.3 (E0605) resolved this issue for me.

Re: imcfaultdm won't start after E0506P09 upgrade
Unfortunately, the update didn't work for us. Like the previous one, the update went fine, without any warning or error. But then, the process imcfaultdm stills refuse to launch.
And additionnal problems appeared : error accessing the interface by HTTPS, some menus producing navigation errors, overall slow down of the interface etc...
