Alarms off serial port
Hello,
I'm working on a V3000 system for a customer and we have a device that attaches to the serial port of the PBX and notifies us on errors like T1 outage. I've read the administrator's guide and it only mentions alarms via SNMP. When looking at the console of the PBX it appears that it may support sending alarms via serial. Does anyone know if this is possible? Is there a document that lists all the possible alerts?
Thanks,
Chris

Re: Alarms off serial port
I am not aware of any alarms being sent via the serial connection . I know the Mibs would probably have more info but I have never played with them and I know they are not that robust . You may have to open a case to get a copy of them ....
