All vtl's in use.

What happens when all vtl's are in use between 2 sites does the system just ring in defintely?

Re: All vtl's in use.

no, you will get a busy signal.

However, most people have a secondary route in their dialplan. Not only in case all VTL's are busy, but in case the WAN link is down.

The secondary route has the call going out the PRI or analog line. This is the recommended method.

Not sure if a ring no answer or a busy , I think a ring no answer on them .

All ports busy should show up on the logs .

can you provide me with a sample of what a secondary route in the dialplan would look like?

Re: All vtl's in use.

for example

/                                                      Route    Entry      DestinationExtension

/                                                        -----       -----         --------------------

DestinationRouteEntry Create     1          1             *0002

DestinationRouteEntry Create     1          2             *0001

does the above lines mean that if route 1 entry 1 is full or busy it trys to go out route 1 entry 2?
