All vtl's in use.

What happens when all vtl's are in use between 2 sites does the system just ring in defintely?

no, you will get a busy signal.



However, most people have a secondary route in their dialplan. Not only in case all VTL's are busy, but in case the WAN link is down.



The secondary route has the call going out the PRI or analog line. This is the recommended method.

Not sure if a ring no answer or a busy , I think a ring no answer on them .



All ports busy should show up on the logs .

does the above lines mean that if route 1 entry 1 is full or busy it trys to go out route 1 entry 2?

Yes thats correct . when the firs troute cannot get trunks , it will " fail " over to the 2nd route .
