CDR question
Good Morning.
I have multiple nbx locations, all have its own cdr program running and capturing data. All locations are using 6.5.22
I have a new reports person who wants access to 3 location's data.
If this person just changed the ip address and password in NXCDR to another location.
Would the database still work?
The only difference between locations is extension numbers, no site codes are in use.
Thank you

Re: CDR question
yes, it would.. but (always a but, huh??) he must purge his database or else he will be getting records
from the various sites. I mean purge the database on the PC.. the steps would be
1. Purge all records on the PC
2. exit CDR application (exiting actually cleans up the cdr db on the pc)
3. restart CDR app
4. change the IP address and Retrieve the CDR records

Re: CDR question
Thank you
If he left the database in place and just changed the IP's and passwords he would have a mixed database from 3 locations, would this work or cause issues?

Re: CDR question
It will cause issues with reports you are running.. Not so much daily reports, but if you combine weekly or
monthly reports you would be getting mixed data.
