Changing caller ID in Gui? or dial plan?
I have run into a problem with the caller IDs on our NBX V3000. We have multiple dept with their own toll free numbers and recently I have moved these dept in different locations within our office. the way we have our depts set up is thru hunt groups so adding and remove extensions is no problem with these hunt groups. In a few of my depts however the caller ID's remain unchange even though I switched them to different hunt groups. Originally the system and dial plan was set up by a previous employee so I am unfamiliar with how he set up the system. I have never really worked with the 3com system until recently and have never built a dial plan. My question is for caller ID can this somehow be changed in the GUI or do I have to manipulate the dial plan?

Not sure what you mean .
Are you saying the telco caller id does not change or the Hunt Group ?
Can you tell us what is in the display on both tels for hunt group displays ?

You have to manipulate the dial plan. The CLIP is done in the Pretranslator section (at the bottum) of the dial plan.
