SolutionTry creating the folder via telnet or a direct console connection
If telnet, make sure you can telnet into the NBX (go to http://IP address of NBX/sec_cont/system/systask.htm)
make sure telnet is enabled.
after logging in as the administrator, do the following
cd "/htfs0" (note: the quotes are necessary)
mkdir "cdr" (quotes necessary again)
that is it!

No Small task then,
If I delete the code from the machine where do I obtain the same code as this would be the 1st time that we have had to do anything to the system has been a rock, as I have this system and another linked via wan. So will I have issues with resetting this up or is it a simple task>?

you should not have to reboot the system....
make sure CDR is enabled ...
A new file is created on a daily basis.. named by date (20110125.xml)
