All former 3Com Partners need the new procedure for registering HP p/n JD759A G2 licenses for their existing NBX clients on the new HP Portal.
Please give a concise, step by step answer - we are all getting very frustrated here

Re: How to register HP JD759A G2 licenses on new HP Portal
I am not sure how to register if you are not an HP partner . I will try and see if non partners / contracts can do this .
Have you followed the standard process of obtaining licenses ?
What issue did you have ?
Did you contact anyone to see if they could assist at Customer Support ?

Re: How to register HP JD759A G2 licenses on new HP Portal
hi. are you talking legacy licenses or new licenses.. here
is mail that went out regarding legacy licenses.
Due to the retirement of 3Com systems and transition of all activity to HP systems, any legacy 3Com license keys that were not registered in eSupport cannot be registered in the HP My Networking portal.
To trade-in your legacy license key for an HP license that can be activated in My Networking (http://hp.com/networking/mynetworking/), please send an e-mail to: HPN.Licenses@hp.com Your license key will be fulfilled based on product availability.
The following data MUST be provided in the e-mail:
Reseller contact name
Reseller address
Reseller e-mail
Reseller phone #
End user account/company name
End user account/company address
End user contact name
End-user e-mail

Re: How to register HP JD759A G2 licenses on new HP Portal
Clarifications;
Yes, we are set up with a new HP Passport Portal.
We are trying to register/activate new G2 and other NBX licenses purchased under HP part numbers (i.e. JD759A) from our usual distribution channel. We are fully authorized to order these licenses from HP.
We received the HP email announcement:
Yet we do not see any of our NBX systems previously registered via our 3Com Siebel eSupport portal under HP Passport Portal>My Networking>My Products, nor is it clear as to how to register/activate license codes for our existing client's systems.
Please help, I have business backing up around this. Thanks in advance.
