Incoming Calls - Caller ID is not working
Hello,
We are using 3Com NBX V 3000, CLI for incoming calls was working very fine. Recently we shifted our office and now after shifting CLI for incoming calls is not working, only the ext. no e.g. 750 or 751 ........ comes on the telephone screen (Caller ID facility is already been activated by telecom company).
Can anyone help to fix this problem?

What version of NBX are you running?
also, incoming calls.. are they through analog line card port or PRI or BRI or T1??
If it is PRI, what is the protocol? are you running NI-2 / DMS100?

we are using Version: R5_0_31 and incoming calls are through analogue line cards.

I assume you moved form a location and now you have new telco lines ?
If yes , then contact your local telco and tell them as we either see caller id or do not .
One thign you can do is to unplug a line and plug it into a tel like at your hour ( analog telephone ) ,
get a tel with a display on it like one at your house , and call that phone number . See if the cid appears in the display . If it does not then contact your telco and tell them that you are not getting caller id .
