If the auto attendant transfers a call to an extension and the call then goes to VoiceMail, there is no greeting heard. I can see that the VoiceMail port is in use, but there is no greeting and nothing is recorded.



VoiceMail works correctly in all other scenarios (Transfered from another extension, call directly to a phone, XFer to VMail, etc)



However, if the AutoAttendant is involved, the voicemail does not work.



I have two NBX V3000's with software 6_5_20 having the identicle problem.

Did you convert your wav files from ADPCM to G711 or did you install everything form scratch ? Maybe open a case up with support .

One is a brand new v3000. But don't forget, VoiceMail works fine in all other situations. Only a problem if the AutoAttendant forwarded the call. AA greetings/prompts are fine, VM prompts are fine, unless the AA transfers.



Tried to open a case with 3COM and they said buy a contract.

are you using something other than the US country pack? if so, what country pack? did you install a new one along with 6.5.20??

So did you copy another databse or is the databse brand new as well ?

Just in case anyone else runs into the problem - It was a bug in the 6.5.20. 3COM sent me a patch and it resolved the problem.
