Nbx V3001BRI rel 6_0_55 crash

Hi,

I have a v3001bri with 2 PRI Board, 1 BRI Board in the chassis.

The Machine Crashes At least once a week, and I have to restart from web management. Where Can I find the problem? There is a debug level in logs settings?

Any details on the crash?

are the phones on the same subnet as the NBX still getting dialtone???

is voicemail and auto attendant operations still working.

First place to look is to connect a console to the NBX.. when it "crashes", do an "i" command.

Is anything in SUSPEND mode (other than the debugger process)

You should also do an InetStatShow and post it here

All phones, and attendant console are on the same subnet, and when NCP is blocked all phones, attendant console,  all operator are blocked. Only webmanager respond.

You can help me to do InetStatShow I am newbie.

Sorry, the correct command is inetstatShow (upper and lower case does make a difference !!)

There are special methods to configure com1? Because I see nothing Hyer Terminal!

the console shouldbe 9600-8-n-1-n.. then you should see your prompt.

I had a similar problem with V3001 Analog; memory problem. Replace the memory module and while you have the chassis open, install a 512MB module

The 3001 takes a 512mb upgrade (you actually replace that with the memory that is in there since only one slot)
HP number is JD721A, the old 3com number was 3c10245.
You can try HP, not sure if they have any left. .if not, then try the secondary market... good luck
