Phone not connecting to NCP

3102 Business phone, brand new out of the box.

NBX V3000, R6_0_59



I have added multiple phones over the last few months with no trouble. When I plug the phone in I get:



Searching for NCP

L2(NCP MAC)

Then

Connection to NCP

L2(NCP MAC)xxxx.xxxx.xxxx



The phone remains in this state permanently. The MAC address shown is the correct address for the NCP. Auto Discover is on and I have made no recent changes to the system.



I did not configure the system and I do not have expert level knowledge of it. I have managed it for the last year and am comfortable making various changes to calling groups, vm settings, etc.



Any help or ideas would be appreciated.

Check to make sure you have enough 3102 licenses.

That would be in Netset, Licensing and Upgrades, then go to the Usage Report Page. Do you have any free Group 2 licenses? if not, can you delete a user and phone?
