Prompts and SIP
I am currrently running 6.5.22 NIP mode.
When I do a reboot, on the hyperterm it shows 846 custom compressions.
my question is --
if I go to SIP mode, will the custom compressions go away with the prompts, voice mail and announcements?
Thanks

Re: Prompts and SIP
Your compression in the NBX in NIP mode is adpcm , in sip it will be either G711 or G729
You record a greeting / recording in one of these compressions .
All recordings will be lost due to changing from ADPCM to another codec .
