RTPpayload types

The nbx is set for RTP payload 97.



The VCX softphone is set 101.



Should I change  either?



What is the difference?

Both RTP payload types are in the "dynamic" range so there is really no difference between them.



You do not have to change either one on the NBX or VCX. What happens is that, in the SIP/SDP packet, they negotiate and decide to use which one for each call. They always decide on the one system that sent the INVITE.
