Re: V3000 drops call if picked up on 1st ring
This happens to us as well. I've instructed my guys to wait until after the beginning of the second ring. My tech says it has something to do with the CallerID burst being sent between the first and second ring, and if the call is answered, it kills that burst and somehow kills the call.
Don't know if this helps at all, but thought I'd lend my experience on this one. . .

Re: V3000 drops call if picked up on 1st ring
I gotta say that I doubt this is NBX issue, but then again :)
can you run a quick test? take your analog line, connect it directly to a phone... then try it. do you
lose call after first ring???

Re: V3000 drops call if picked up on 1st ring
Ok, I think we finally got a hande on this.
We replaced an old Dell 2716 switch that had another switch uplinked to it, with a new HP1910 switch, which is an original 3Com design. In fact, it came in a 3Com box.
Its been 2 weeks now, no disconnects :-)
