V3000 dtmf issue
We have an NBX V3000 with 6.5.22 , SIP mode, ISDN PRI, 3101 Basic phones.
When calling external IVR, we are asked to select service by pressing the related button.
We are not able to access submenu or service. The issue looks the dtmf signals are not
transmitted by the NBX V3000. I've tried to call my cell phone, and I have not heard the dtmf
tones too. Any assistance is appreciated.

you are in SIP mode?
check on the System Wide Settings/Enable Features System Wide page, what is RTP DTMF Payload type set to?
it should be set to 97....

what type of telco lines are you using ? analog ? Digital ? Soft trunks ?
what version of NBX code ?
The NBX sends DTMF tones out over analog and digital as per telco specs . we do not have any known issues with not sending tones after off hook so to speak . Your clal should go form the NBX to the Telco to the far end and go off hook . At this time the dtmf after being pressed should be heard over the handset as well .

R6.5.22 should be ok as I do not know of any issues reported on this code for that type of issue .
You have an E1 from Telco .
Not sure why you don't get analog tones . One suggestion is to go to Patch level 03 which you can get form our tech support .
Interesting that this occurs as if the call goes offhook and connects , you open the audio path for the E1 . At this point the tones come from the NBX to the Telco . If you try an Analog line instead of the E1 line , do you get tones ? Do you have an analog line to test with ?
