V5000 Remote Telephone Error

After completing the conf. wizard for a remote pcXset telephone I get the following error meassage when the phone launches:

Error code: (80042002H)

Error message: Open failure on wave object.

Context: EngineWrapperClass.bStart

-This error has occured in the Multimedia subsystem.

The phone is unable to initialize. Any ideas what might be causing this?

What OS on the PC it is trying to run on ?

Enough memory in the PC ?

What version of code on the V5000 ?

Do you have enough licenses for PCXSet ?

one other thing.. does PC have hyper-threading turned on?
we know that Pcxset does not work if hyper-threading is on

one other thing.. does PC have hyper-threading turned on?
we know that Pcxset does not work if hyper-threading is on

Windows 7?

Pcxset must be installed and run using Windows Vista compatability mode.. also, Windows 7 was tested with PCxset 6.0.10 so you need that version of software.

YOu should remove pcxset 6.0.5 and install cpxset 6.0.10.

to install and run, right click on the image, click on properties, then Cmopatibility mode

Are you runing 64 bit ? I see 4 Gig of memory ...... 64 bit is not supported , only 32 bit .....
