remove voicemail feature from ext

Hi,



I have some extensions that should not have voicemail enabled (a fax line for example). How can I turn off voicemail for specific extensions?

Change the numbetr of rings to the maximum for coverage . I don't think there is any way to shut it off completely unless you build a loop in forwarding and send it back to itself .

Under User,Call Forward set ring to the length you want it to ring, 1 ring is 5 seconds.

then--

either-set disconnect as the time out choice.

or an autoattendant or another extension number.

Also under user NBXvoicemail settings, set personal greeting to announce only.

That will keep voicemail from ever being left there.

I will change the number of rings to 25 and Disconnect (no forwarding).

your other option is under User Configuration > Users pick the user and tab Settings then NBX Voice Mail Settings > Personal Greeting and check the Greeting Only Mailbox option
