voicemails can't be deleted
NBX V3000A
R6.5.22
The symptom is voicemails can’t be deleted; it says they are, but they don’t in fact delete. Not from the phone or through the web interface
These 3 won’t allow deletion; new voicemails can be left, but they can’t be deleteted.
In this case it’s x4001, last time it was x4002.
Only a restart of the phone system seems to fix this and allow for successful deletion once the NBX reboots

Re: voicemails can't be deleted
What version of NBX code ??
Are using any third party apps like outlook or something else to listen to your voicemails rather then your tel ?
IMAP type of clients ( used to listen to voicemail ) ?
What kind of NBX ?
Analog or Digital lines ?
How many tels does this occcur on ?
Does this happen all the time or just some of the time ?

Re: voicemails can't be deleted
IT's a NBX V3000A
The code is R6.5.22 with Digital lines.
Its been happing for the last two weeks
It only happens with the extensions used for Level 1 and Level 2 support (x4001 and x4002; group voicemails for those ACD groups).
You can’t delete voicemails from a phone (any phone) or when logging in thru the web interface
nor thru the web as administrator.
The only “fix” is to reboot the phone system.
The first symptoms are you delete a VM, and it is still there. And on the web client, you can see them all backed up, most with red asterisks next to them.
Thanks for your help!

NBX - Does IMAP with Outlook Express delete the message in voicemail when deleted from email?
Solution ID - 2.0.95681496.3587194
Goals:
Symptoms: Does IMAP with Outlook Express delete the message in voice mail when deleted from email? Does IMAP with Outlook Express undelete the message in voice mail when deleted from email? IMAP not synchronizing with the NBX phones display Voice message is not deleting
Changes:
Facts: SuperStack 3 NBX NBX 100 IMAP NBX IMAP4 Unified Messaging Microsoft OutLook Express NBX Messaging
Causes: Applications recently installed on the PC are conflicting with IMAP
Fixes: Yes, when deleted from the email application IMAP deletes it from voice mail Yes, when undeleted from the email application IMAP undeletes it from voice mail When selecting "Purge" from Outlook Express this will remove the e-mail
If the voice messages do not appear to be deleting or synchronizing with the NBX display, remove any new applications, one at a time until the application causing the issue is determined.
Note: Microsoft Outlook is not IMAP4 compliant; thus Microsoft Outlook is not supported.
Outlook Express is IMAP4 compliant and is supported
