It’s been just a few months since we announced our last Business Service Management service pack, but we are excited to now release another version. Although Business Service Management (BSM) 9.24 was planned as a relatively modest update to upgrade our support matrix, we used the new release to include some additional enhancements and content that customers have requested.

You can find a complete overview of what is included in the new version on the SSO portal (requires HP Passport login), but here is a quick look at some of the most important updates. Scroll down to read more about the BSM Support Matrixes and installation instructions.

BSM 9.24 platform

  • OS Support of Red Hat Linux 6.4/6.5 and Windows Server 2012
  •  New guides and best practice documents, that all can be found on the Documentation and Online Help (SSO)

HP Real User Monitor 9.24

  • Mobile Crash Analysis tool enables mobile developers to quickly analyze crashes based on the device, carrier, OS, and application version
  • Application Availability broken down by device, carrier, OS, and application version; this helps to quickly identify regressions due to version releases and poorly supported platforms

HP Business Process Monitor 9.24

Service Health Analyzer 9.24

  • Integration to Operations Analytics 2.x, so you can drill down from an SHA anomaly to Operations Analytics
  • Improved usability of the SHA statistic report with a seasonality indication
  • Enhanced analytic event to present the metric value and baseline within the event, so the operator can get a better understanding of the anomaly without having to drill into the SHA UI

BSM system requirements and support matrix information is now located in a separate BSM System Requirements and Support Matrix document on the HP Software Product Manuals web site. This document includes:

  • BSM server and database support matrixes
