Join us in London at the IT Service Management and Support Show (SITS’14)

The IT Service Management and Support Event (SITS) is being held April 29-30 in London, and I hope that you are as excited for this event as I am.  I will be with the HP EMEA team at stand #720 doing live demos of the latest and greatest solutions from our Service and Portfolio Management (SPM) group of software. Our partner WM Promus will be at the show too, also showing the HP portfolio. You’ll find them at stand #208.


HP’s SaaS service desk, Service Anywhere March 2014 will be showcased at both stands, giving you two opportunities to see how it can transform your service desk with capabilities such as:

  • A fresh and built for ITSM design that enhances the experience of both users and end-users through intuitive workflows, proactive content delivery, and an attractive user interface
  • An engaging self-service and a social IT approach that empowers business users to help themselves and contributes to call avoidance
  • Actionable analytics that include trending derived from structured and unstructured data sources
  • Deeply embedded knowledge that eliminates silos so users and end-users find the best answers faster
  • Change visualization through a forward looking calendar and impact map

As you watch the demos, you will how Service Anywhere leverages the latest technology including HAVEn - HP’s industry leading big data solution which is embedded in Service Anywhere. As an added bonus to event attendees, we asked members of the HP R&D team to be part of our event staff. They will be available at both stands to answer technology questions for those technology evangelists who stop by. I encourage you to bring your toughest questions for this team.


Service Catalog and CMS will also be prominent at our stand.  Latest trends like cloud and BYOD create new choices for IT consumers - and new opportunities for IT to demonstrate value and alignment with business priorities. Stop by to see how service catalog and portal innovations can help you better support your customers and enable you to increase its productivity.


Configuration management and discovery are key to successful IT Service Management. Be it the need for detecting unplanned changes, for understanding potential change conflicts, or for software license compliance – the Configuration Management System (CMS) is the foundation for providing the relevant service information.   Our industry leading CMS integrates with both Service Manager and Service Anywhere.


There will be a full schedule of presentations occurring in the mini-theatre at stand #720. These sessions include ITSM thought leadership sessions and panel discussions from HP industry experts.
