Solution
When you setup the c8000 as an Ignite server, you'll need to create a media archive from your DVD or CDROM discs. The media archive can be copied to the c8000 disk or mounted on the c8000 and restored to the rp2470. A backup image of the c8000 is useless for the rp2470 as the I/O is incompatible with the c8000.

Re: C8000 RP2740
Shalom,
While obviously possible to install Ignite on a c8000, don't plan on adding a lot of servers. As a single server backup/ignite recovery point the c8000 will do well. You can not add enough disk to the C8000 except perhaps fiber to support a large Ignite server.
