When we installed from the June '04 11.11 CD' we were given, as part of the "standard" install (we did not sellect or deselect any software)Java, CIFS, Ignite and other stuff to install.
We built a Ignite server (see other post on that subject) but when we ignite from it we are not given as many, or hardly any software selection to install.
Thoughts appreciated.

Hi Charles,
when you install from a ignite server you have the minimal OS available for install unless you have created seperate depots for other softwares and made available to the ignite clients. You do this my creating configuration files using the make_config command.
This link from the ignite admin guide might help,
http://docs.hp.com/cgi-bin/fsearch/framedisplay?top=/hpux/onlinedocs/B2355-90837/B2355-90837_top.html&con=/hpux/onlinedocs/B2355-90837/00/00/21-con.html&toc=/hpux/onlinedocs/B2355-90837/00/00/21-toc.html&searchterms=make_config&queryid=20041014-142937
What i'm trying to say is listed under "Set Up or Update the Software Source".
Hope this helps.
