Configure secure console and secure cde

HPux 11i

I configure /etc/securetty with word console and block access root for telnet, but root logon over cde con Xserver, how configure (root no login in cde)

/etc/securetty can be used to limit root logins to console only.

CDE is controlled in these files:

vi /etc.rc.config.d/desktop
DESKTOP=""

That will block it for everyone.

Or


vi /etc/dt/config/Xaccess
put in the hostnames or ip addresses you wish to allow access

/sbin.init.d/dtlogin.rc reset

That will implement the change. It may knock out cde users.
