Deleting make_net_recovery archives okay?

Is it okay to delete older make_net_recovery archives? just rm them or is there a cleaner way? I have an rx2620 and an rx4640. the archives are in /var/opt/ignite/clients/0x0016353E5DD6/recovery/

Hi

We do the same in our environment,we keep the latest 2 copies and remove the rest of them. We do a rm and that is fine.

Yes.

I try and use a find with the +mtime parameter or one if its siblings to get rid of old ones in an automated fashion.

We also keep 2 Ignite2Disk copys.
One thing to consider if you are automating the rm-of-old-versions, is to check and make sure the new Ignite2Disk went okay BEFORE you rm one of the older versions.

Script would do something like
(1) run a new Ignit2Disk
(2) Check return code of make-new-recovery
and output file exsists at a good size.
(3) if okay, kill the version from 2 weeks
ago.

See, I'm speaking from a bad experience here. Don't automagically delete old good copies when you create new bad copies
