How to reduce list shown in "sea lan install"

I've recently built a dozen systems using Ignite Recovery. After each system is built, when I go to build the next one, the previous system's IP shows up as a valid boot lan install IP option when issuing "sea lan install". It only shows the first 8 systems, and there are now so many that it cannot find the IP of the real Ignite server I wish to use, even after multiple attempts. What process is broadcasting these IP's out and how do I disable them from being broadcast? I'm assuming I need to fix this on each of the individual systems I've already built.

Shalom,

No way to reduce the list except to pull out NIC cards from the system. You need to get some information like lanscan MAC address on the ignite server to help you identify it.

Re: How to reduce list shown in "sea lan install"

I solved the problem. Each reporting host as identified by IP's in the "sea lan install" list output had a "instl_boots" entry in the inetd.conf file, which was causing a broadcast of that system's IP address as a boot device. I removed that entry, re-read inetd.conf; problem solved.
