When we boot vPar using Ignite, the default selected option as mode of installation is "Advanced" ... is there any way I can get it to "no user interaction" mode and similarly rather than responding to warnings coming during "no-user interaction" mode is it possible to set it somewhere at Ignite side as "no".
Solved! Go to Solution.

Re: How to set default selection in ignite wizard to be no user interface
Come on. No version number, no OS. It could be a bug and a version upgrade could fix this.
Check what the Ignite logs say.

Re: How to set default selection in ignite wizard to be no user interface
Sorry about missing important information!
I am doing vPars on rx7620 box which is imaged with HPUX 11i v3[11.31, IA64] and Ignite package on Ignite server is C.7.5.142
And ignite server has HP-UX B.11.23 deployed on it.
How can I make hp ux deployment wizard using ignite to pick "no user interface" as default selected option rather than "advanced option" as shown below..
*************************
User Interface Options:
[ ] Guided Installation (recommended for basic installs)
[ * ] Advanced Installation (recommended for disk and filesystem management)
[ ] No user interface - setup basic networking, use defaults and go
[ ] Remote graphical interface running on the Ignite-UX server
Hint: If you need to make LVM size changes, or want to set the
final networking parameters during the install, you will
need to use the Advanced mode (or remote graphical interface).
[ OK ] [ Cancel ] [ Help ]
****************************
It comes like this, but I need it to select 3rd option by default.
Any suggestions.
