I got ignite installed - but now I can't use it

I think I'd start over from the beginning at this point.

1 - Get a good backup.
2 - swremove the entire Ignite products.
3 - Remove the entire /opt/ignite directory after the swremove.
4 - swinstall the Ignite products again, using reinstall options in case other files exist that it can't overwrite. Leave locations at defaults.
5 - Try another make_recovery.

I ended up installing to a new location and pointing to it....
