IGNITE via Network

Good Day!

I need a procedure on how to set up Ignite server/client also on how to backup and restore vi network (make_net_recovery).

Doanload the ignite s/w from, http://www.software.hp.com

Install it on the ignite server and the clients as well, using swinstall.

add the following lines to /etc/exports

/var/opt/ignite/clients -anon
/var/opt/ignite/recovery/archives -anon

Run the command,

exportfs -av

Make sure both the dirs are owned by bin:bin

chown bin:bin /var/opt/ignite/clients
chown bin:bin /var/opt/ignite/recovery/archives

From the client, run the following command

/opt/ignite/bin/make_net_recovery -s -x inc_entire=vg00
