IPL error: bad LIF magic

When booting from Ignite-UX server I receive the following error:

IPL error: bad LIF magic.

Is my WINSTALL kernel corrupted?

2 possibility:
1) corrupted lif
2) server configuration pb, and you are not serving the right file

So I suggest:
1) you take a network trace to find the name of the file you get
2) you check the consistancy of the file you get with "file thefile" and "lifls thefile"


1) also permit to theck there is no other networking config pb

It turned out to be a tftp server problem. Somehow after reconfiguring /etc/inetd.conf simple 'inetd -c' didn't make it, I had to manually run stop/start script to make it boot without the above problem.
