After this message nothing happens.
I have done make_depots -r B.11.23 -s /dev/dsk/c0t0d0 -d /ignitedepots

make_config
and I changed the bootptab and made a copy of the ignite example.

Anyoen any ideas

the client machine is an rx1600

Hi,
booting from lan from an IPF server is a bit different from the PA way.
Have you read the ignite guide (page 63) ? :

I also suggest using make_net_recovery to do a first test of your ignite architecture.
In a second time, when every thing is ok, use make_depots.

I have seen this kind of problem when the console in use was not configured properly.

If you are igniting a machine with multiple console ports on the back, try using all of them, I'd bet your console is waiting for you at the ignite menus, you just can't see the console output.

An example session where we set all of the console options to the same VT100+:

--> Boot option maintenance menu
Security/Password Menu

Use ^ and v to change option(s). Use Enter to select an option
