Ignite C.6.5.x, C.6.4.x, C.6.3.x, C.6.2.x
After we installed this new version of Ignite we received the warning that follows. (command from within a script: make_net_recovery -s scorpio -pv). Since the script is executed from cron the process hangs and never continues.
Because we have several home grown applications we have chosen not to apply the patches in question. How then do I get the process to bypass the interactive question? (since I did not use the "-i" flag I did not expect the process to stop).
Thanks in advance for any help.

WARNING: The version of pax on the system to be archived needs to
be patched with one of the following patches or later.
If you do not load the pax patch, some files will not be
correctly archived (see the Ignite-UX release notes for
details):
HP-UX Patch needed
------- ------------
B.11.00 PHCO_30150
B.11.11 PHCO_30420
You can get patches over the web from the patch database at:
http://itresourcecenter.hp.com
or directly from the FTP server at:
ftp://us-ffs.external.hp.com/hp-ux_patches
You have 10 seconds to cancel archive creation...
Do you want to cancel? (y or [n])

I would install the patch , It's a very small piece of patch and does not require reboot.
I suggest you to install the patch
-USA..

I have to agree, install the patch. But if you just can't do it because of your custom software, remove ignite and reinstall the older version that was working for you before.
It is important that you verify any co-dependant patches required before you upgrade software on your server. If you don't you wind up in these situations.
