Ignite add_new_client
I was trying to run add_new_client. It hung and I cancelled it with Ctrl-C. Later I found a hung process,
/opt/ignite/listeners/IO/1123io/smapi_listener
. I tried to kill it with no luck. I'm not able to run Ignite backups on this machine now. Any way to clean this up without rebooting?
Thanks,
Clint

Re: Ignite add_new_client
No, more than likely the smapi_listener program has hung uninteruptibly waiting for something to complete (most likely I/O related).

Re: Ignite add_new_client
The server had to be rebooted, couldn't wait any longer. So, I don't have the ps output available. lsof seemed to show it was waiting for I/O.
Thanks for the responses.
