Ignite and ServiceGuard

I am igniting a single node clustered server. How does licensing work when I do the ignite restore on the target? Do I need to re-license? Will service guard even work in the target environment?

All help is appreciated.

Re: Ignite and ServiceGuard

Hey;

If you're doing a golden image installation, the MC/Serviceguard will be installed but not configured.

If you're cloning or restoring a system from a make_*_recovery image, then the Serviceguard s/w will be installed *and* configured. i.e. the cloned/rebuilt system will think it's part of the cluster.

That's my understanding at any rate: please verify that before relying on it in a production environment.
