Ignite - cannot select correct OS Depot when lan boot
Hi
I have the same problem as this other gentleman where when I boot the HP-UX across the LAN I only get the HP-UX 11.23 OS to install and not HP-UX 11.11 OS which is actually what I want.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Best regards
Ben

Re: Ignite - cannot select correct OS Depot when lan boot
Shalom Ben,
Have you done the swcopy of the Core OS to the correct location? You need the Core OS on disk to make the Ignite boot work.

Re: Ignite - cannot select correct OS Depot when lan boot
Hi
Yup, did this when setting up the server, copied the 2 Core CD within the Server Setup program.
I did have to manually edit the INDEX file to get the Entry in there but other than that.... (think there is a bug in this version of Ignite - the one you can download now from the software site).
Best regards
Ben
