Ignite does not detect this logical drive.on rx3600

Hi,

We have rx3600 with 2 internal drives in different slots. P600 controller detects these drives and we could create logical drive (RAID 0+1) using P600 controller.

We are trying to install HP-UX using Ignite server but when machine boots to Ignite-UX menu, Ignite does not detect this logical drive.

We moved thiese SAS drives to slots 7,8 and recreated logical drive but no luck. We also tried with installing hp-ux using DVDs but DVD media uses Ignite-UX menu. No luck. Any suggesstions.

Where it says: "For HP UX and OpenVMS based systems: Must select one of two choices: PCI-X 8 port Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) host bus adapter or PCI Express 8 port Smart Array (P400) Serial Attached SCSI Controller:"

and

"For Windows and Linux based systems: Must select one of three choices: PCI-X 8 port Smart Array (P600) Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) controller, or PCI Express 8 port Smart Array (P400) Serial Attached SCSI Controller, or PCI Express 16 port Smart Array (P800) Serial Attached SCSI Controller."

Sorry, the P600 is not supported by HP-UX.
