Re: Ignite error
It has nothing to do with ignite. It is not able to determine the boot disk because of the error in lvlnboot.
Try to solve this problem and ignite will surely start working.
Possible reasons -
Any recent parameter changes related to i/O parameters ?
Can you attach ioscan output & kmtune -l output.

Re: Ignite error
Your Ignite error is because you haven't used the non-rewind tape device on the command line. You should use /dev/rmt/5mn
The lvlnboot error ...
Can you run
# diskinfo /dev/rdsk/c0t6d0
and post the response

Re: Ignite error
These do not show anything abnormal. Can you elaborate a bit more on what happened recently or since last reboot. I suspect it could be because of some LVM header corruption. Check your physical disks of root VG indivisually & check sync status if vg00 is mirrored.

Re: Ignite error
Actually our rp7410 was having 2 cellboards with 4 internal disk. Two vgs were there, each vg was having 2 disks each.2 disks were mirrored.we removed 1 cell board so it was detecting only 2 disks;so that we removed mirroring.still in lvmtab in vg00 it was showing 2 disks;one the boot disk as well as the one which was not detecting (in cell 1).so i removed that particular PV manually by vgreduce -l vg00 pvname. After that it was showing only 1 PV in lvmtab file.

Re: Ignite error
Can you attach the outputs of
#vgdisplay -v /dev/vg00
#lvdisplay -v /dev/vg00/lvol*
I still expect some errors during this.

Re: Ignite error
you can try with
lvlnboot -R
and to verify if the command
lvlnboot -v
run fine
