We would like to create ignite image on local disk instead of local tape drive on remote server without having any Ignite-UX Server configured.
We have a remote server with local tape drive attached but we don???t want to physically go there to put the DDS tape into the tape drive. I would prefer to create the ignite image first on local disk and then create ignite tape on other server???s tape drive in our head office where I sit.
We want to get it done without any Ignite-UX Server involvement.
Thanks,
Gulam.

Re: Ignite image on local disks.
Hi Gulam,
Sorry, you have to use one of the two options you mentioned, server or tape.
In these cases we look for a "super"-user at the location who operates the tape-handling. Server costs us to much bandwith.
Goodluck,
Donald
