Ignite - make_recovery tape failing on boot

Has anyone run into this or know what a fix might be ? I created a make_recovery tape on an N-9000 (64 bit OS). I'm trying to recover this tape on a K-460 (all firmware updated) but receive the following error:
tape(10/16/8.1.0;0):INSTALL: Cannot open or not executable
exec failed: No such file or directory
Both machines have a dds III and I know the tape is good cause it works just fine on another N=class server. Any help is always appreciated.

Re: Ignite - make_recovery tape failing on boot

This sounds similar to a problem I had. I can't say for sure if it is the same problem.
There is a file on the box that has model numbers and what box can run 64 bit or has to run 32 bit.
Was this box ever upgraded? Ours had been upgraded and this file was not. The model string still said 32 bit so when we tried to upgrade it would not let us.
Sorry I can't give more details. Maybe this will ring a bell with someone else.

I saw that file. According to it, a K460 is 64-bit compatible. I did a strings on the file your talking about:
strings /opt/ignite/boot/INSTALLFS | grep 64 | pg

Thanks for your info.
