You may be able to store your ignite images on a samba/nfs drive connected to via the LAN. I haven't played around much with that but it should be possible.

Are you talking about the hard disk space ?
Ignite-UX when used as a server, typically would require lots of space to store the clients recovery archive, depending on the number of clients this server will be serving and also on the size of the "stuff" in the client's VG00.
I would go with approximately 2-3 GB per client in /var/opt/ignite filesystem.

SolutionBut remember, for the clients to be able to "pull" the install from the IUX server, the server should be in the same broadcast domain as the client.
If not, you would need a boot-helper.
