Ignite server on different subnet
I have to install one vpar. My vpar is on the submet 10.26.8.0 but my ignite server is on the subnet 10.26.120.0.
I issued the command from other Vpar as
# vparboot -p
It is asking for desired LAN to continue. Kindly suggest, will my LAN on this subnet be able to find the ignite server on the subnet specified above and proceed with the installation? or is there anything else required to be done at server or ignite server side?
Thanks
Vishu

Re: Ignite server on different subnet
In case of HP9000 server you need a boot helper.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
