Re: Ignite_tape_recovery failed
I hope when u try tar backup it is working successfully so there is no issues with Tape drive and media. could you pls confirm that?
Can you verify you can create a large file in /var/tmp with the command "prealloc /var/tmp/test 2200000000". My suspicion is that there is some reason we can't write to the /var/tmp filesystem.
Could you also run "fsadm -v -F vxfs /var" and send the output?
If possible pls send the syslog.log as well?
Thanks

Re: Ignite_tape_recovery failed
Hello Mridul,
I confirm the issue, there is a problem with media. It is working successfully after edit file /opt/ignite/bin/make_medialif with increase the -v value for lifinit. from -v72000000 to -v9000000.
Thank you for support,
Jenn.
