Issue with system image recovery with ignite C.7.17.361
Hello ,
I am trying to restore the system image (hp-ux 11iv3 March 2013) using ignite C.7.17.361 but continously getting errors:
* Using client directory: /var/opt/ignite/clients/0x0017087C8828
* Checking configuration for consistency...
* The config files being used do not specify which LVM volume group
versions are supported. Regenerate config files using make_config,
make*recovery (or by adding _hp_provides_LVM_vg_vers to golden-image
config files). Otherwise, Ignite-UX will default to support only LVM
volume group version "1.0".
ERROR: The total volume sizes in disk group: "rootdg" exceed the available
capacity by 53652Mb. For more information run "instl_dbg -D
<clientdir> -d".
ERROR: The disk capacity available is not sufficient to create the volume
"**/**/**" with the size specified (disk space is short by
200Mb). Reduce the size of this volume (or other volumes that share
the same disk group), or use additional/larger disks. For more
information run "instl_dbg -D <clientdir> -d".
and on executing instl_dbg got below output.
# instl_dbg -D /var/opt/ignite/clients/myserver -d

/cache/db/db03 3072 VxFS logdg 0 0% 0

--- so on.
I am assured that my INDEX and system.cfg files are ok as they use to work with ignite 7.14 and 11iv3 earlier OS version.
Note: The system image is from the same server where i am putting it back.
It seems its not being able to clear rootdg so giving disk space issues error.
Could any one help whats wrong with igniite or configuration/settings needs changes.
Thanks,
AbhishekJ
