Make Ignite to tape on another server

Sure boss give rlogin accesss to other host where tape is connected, through rhosts foe user equivelacy.then give the tape path as

not file copied , have you tried "Ignite" / make_tape_recovery using rlogin method,.?

That only works for 'fbackup', NOT for Ignite.

Unless your tape drive can be removed and connected to server1, the task is meaningless. You can't send the data from Ignite from server1 direct to server2's tape drive, but you can use the network feature in Ignite to send the image to server2. Then you can restore server1 from server2 over the network. You'll need extra disk space on server2, at least as much as you have used in vg00 on server1 (always better to have multiple copies though).
