Practically not feasible,

if you could de-attached the tape-drive from server2 than attach to server you perform the Ignite

or

you need look for Ignite_Server setup / Installation

Yes you can, you can take Ignite backup from one server and you can restore into another, while restoring choose advance option.

It is not recommended, but, as long as there is no I/O going on at the time, I've never had any problem doing so.

It's pretty easy to tell if there is activity on the tape drive or not: if the light is blinking, it's probably not a good time to try this. If the light is not blinking, it is very, very unlikely that you will have any problems.

No, there is no special SCSI cable that would prevent problems.

if you could give some more (info) about the Server --> which has tape drive attached
would be much better to suggest to your Question
