Make Recovery fails...

Hello

My make_recovery -AC is failing:

I would have a try with another tape fater an IO error.

Are you sure the tape is the problem? I've run it a couple of times and it fails at the same point but a different number of records in & out?

It might be problem with tape/tape drive.
since your log says that 0 records in, i.e nothing has been written on to tape. so the first casuality is the tape

This is due to
1.bad tape or tape drive
cleaning is reqd.
test with a dd to the tape

2.Update the latest scsi patches

Ok Cheers, i'll try it out Monday as these guys are on holidays (Thanksgiving) and assign points then.
